Meetings and Events Association of Australia Meeting Venue of the Year
Congratulations to the team at the UNSW CBD Campus at 1 OConnell Street winner of the prestigious NSW Meetings and Events Industry 2008 Meeting Venue of the Year Award, and as of 7th April, winners of the National Award.
 
The Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) Industry Awards recognise excellent business practice in the meetings, incentives, conferences and events industry.

The John Niland Scientia Building at UNSW is hosting the Realising Our Broadband Future forum for the Federal Governement, to map the applications and business models that will thrive in Australia's high speed broadband future.
Prime Minister, the Hon. Kevin Rudd MP, will open the forum and a number of key speakers, including NBN Co. CEO, Mike Quigley and Jeff Cole, Director USC Annenberg School, will outline the potential of the NBN for Australia's digital economy.
