Venues and Events manages the theatres, seminar rooms, event and performing arts spaces at the UNSW campus in Kensington and Sydney CBD. Providing a range of venues for conferences, gala dinners, weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, product launches, cocktail parties, workshops, seminars. Venues and Events also supports UNSW teaching through room booking, teaching space design, and AV support. Our venues range from the award winning UNSW CBD Campus at 1 O'Connell Street Sydney CBD with a creative workshop the thinkPOD and conference space, Sir John Clancy Auditorium a 945 concert auditorium, Scientia Building for dinners, weddings, conference and seminars, a 825 seat performance theatre the Science Theatre, and newly refurbished UNSW Conference and Residential Centre with 5 theatres, and 43 hotel rooms
UNSW donates beds to Mission Australia's Soft Landing project
The hotel rooms of the UNSW Conference and Residential Centre in the AGSM Building are currently being refurbished, and this programme includes the replacement of 44 double beds in the residential wing. Building on our commitment to sustainable business practices, UNSW Venues and Events is donating these beds to Mission Australia's Soft Landing program.

The relaunch of the Exchange Cafe
As of 2011 UNSW Venues and Events are excited to announce the relaunch of the original Bar Stella Coffee Cart to the new Exchange Cafe. Open daily from 8am until 3pm, serving expresso coffees, cold drinks, fresh sandwiches and cakes, Exchange Cafe can easily satisfy your caffeine cravings along with a tasty bite to eat.
