Set in the heart of Kensington Campus, the university’s dedicated events centre Scientia is UNSW Hospitality’s flagship venue.

With sweeping views across the university’s landscaped gardens and public spaces, your guests and international delegates will be captivated by this superb facility.

Located in the heart of Sydney’s financial district, in the landmark 1 O’Connell Street building, this award winning facility is designed to inspire and motivate your guests in a range of vibrant, modern environments.

From executive boardrooms, flexible seating seminar rooms to conference rooms and creative workspaces – innovation starts here.

With technology to bring in presenters virtually from around the world, the Streaming Studio is a space dedicated for virtual events. As well as hosting on site from the studio, we can take your virtual broadcast to the next level providing a professional and enjoyable viewer experience.

This Studio can also be used to pre-record sessions for later use in live streams where presenters may not be available to appear in person.

Seating 945 guests, the Sir John Clancy Auditorium is Sydney’s Eastern suburbs largest public auditorium and the perfect venue for large conferences, lectures, classical musical performances and recitals.

The Auditorium is surrounded by a wide range of meeting facilities within the University of NSW, and combined with expert catering and world-class AV provided by the team onsite, your event is sure to be a success.

The Science Theatre plays host to a wide array of performances, events and concerts.

The Theatre is a beautiful setting for stage shows, dance recitals, plays and a range of other cultural events and concerts. it boasts a 16-metre wide proscenium arch stage and extensive performance quality sound and lighting technology.

Conveniently located near the main entrance to UNSW, the Council Chambers is a generous flat floor space that allows you to run workshops or presentations in a light filled environment. 

There are also Meeting rooms available for staff to book adjacent to the Council Chambers that are Teams enabled for hybrid and face to face meetings. 

The UNSW Parramatta Innovation Hub has a brand new flat floor Studio which can facilitate teaching, collaboration and external engagement activities such as workshops and knowledge exchange forums.

The Hub also has remote working stations for staff and students and 7 Meeting and Study rooms.
