Venues and Events manage and operate more than 240 centrally timetabled seminar and teaching spaces across the Kensington campus. Arranged in clusters these seminar rooms make excellent breakout rooms for conferences and smaller events.

 

Called CATS (centrally allocated teaching space) seminar rooms, all are flat floor with movable classroom furniture.

 

Capacity/Quantity of rooms with AV/IT equipment

20-49 delegates - 57 seminar rooms

50-185 delegates - 40 seminar rooms

 

Capacity/Quantity of rooms without AV/IT equipment

under 50 delegates - 87 seminar rooms

In 2009, Venues and Events are installing AV equipment in 12+ of the 87 rooms without IT.
